1. Introduction
Welcome to RocketPD! We are dedicated to empowering educators through high-quality professional development. Whether you’re joining a live cohort, accessing our on-demand content, or exploring new learning tools, we strive to make professional growth engaging and accessible. In this document, RocketPD will be referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our.” By accessing or using our platform, including our courses, website, and services (“Services”), you (“user,” “you,” or “customer”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use our Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you may only use RocketPD with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes may be communicated via email or website notification, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice whenever feasible. However, continued use of RocketPD after updates constitutes your express acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Services Offered
2.1. Content Offerings
RocketPD provides professional development courses, training programs, and educational resources for educators. These may be delivered via live cohorts, pre-recorded content, interactive learning tools, or other tools that we may add over time.
2.2. Modifications & Termination of Services
RocketPD continually evolves its Services to enhance user experience. We reserve the right to add, remove, suspend, or modify any features, functions, or content within our platform at our sole discretion, subject to applicable laws.
Sometimes, we may need to discontinue specific Services or restrict access in certain regions due to legal, technical, or business reasons. RocketPD shall not be liable for any inconvenience or damages arising from such modifications or terminations.
If your use of a paid Service is terminated due to RocketPD discontinuing that Service, a refund may be provided in accordance with our Refund Policy. Users may stop using RocketPD Services at any time.
All content offerings are subject to the Warranties & Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability provisions outlined in these Terms.
3. User Responsibilities & Code of Conduct
You have certain responsibilities as a user, and we expect your cooperation. By using RocketPD, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information.
- Keep login credentials confidential, and not share access with others.
- Use RocketPD content solely for educational purposes, not commercial resale or redistribution.
- Refrain from posting or sharing unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
- Abide by applicable laws and RocketPD’s policies.
3.1. Prohibited Uses
Without prior written consent from RocketPD, users are strictly prohibited from:
- Accessing or using our Services for any form of automated content extraction, data scraping, or text mining, including but not limited to screen scraping, web harvesting, or data extraction through bots, crawlers, or similar tools.
- Using any content, data, or text from the Services to develop, train, or enhance any application, software, code, or data models, including artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning models, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
- Engaging in any activity that could disrupt, interfere with, or harm the security or functionality of the RocketPD platform.
Violating these rules may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination, depending on the severity of the violation. RocketPD reserves the right to determine the appropriate action based on the circumstances. RocketPD reserves the right to investigate violations and take appropriate enforcement actions, including notifying authorities if necessary.
3.2. Termination of Access
RocketPD may take immediate action without prior notice to protect the integrity of the platform and its users. RocketPD reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Refunds will not be provided in cases of termination due to misconduct unless required by law.
4. Intellectual Property & Licensing
All content on RocketPD, including but not limited to videos, course materials, and assessments, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use content for personal and professional development purposes.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of RocketPD content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
5. Payment, Refunds & Subscription Policies
At RocketPD, we are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences. However, we recognize that there may be situations where users need to request a refund. Our refund policies are designed to be fair while maintaining our platform’s and educational services’ integrity. Payments and refund eligibility is subject to the terms outlined below.
5.1. Payment Processing
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your financial information, including payment credentials. RocketPD is not liable for any loss, misuse, or unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your financial details.
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, Thinkific, and other third-party payment providers. RocketPD does not store complete payment details.
5.2. Promotional Offers
From time to time, RocketPD may offer special promotions, discounts, or limited-time offers (“Offers”). Eligibility for Offers is determined solely by RocketPD, and we reserve the right to modify, revoke, or cancel any Offer at our discretion. Users who have already received a promotional offer may not be eligible for additional Offers. Offer terms, including eligibility criteria and limitations, will be disclosed at the time of sign-up or through other communications.
5.3. Changes to Pricing & Subscription Plans
RocketPD reserves the right to adjust pricing, modify subscription plans, or change any component of its Services at any time at its sole discretion. Any pricing or plan changes will be communicated in advance, and continued use of RocketPD Services after a price adjustment constitutes acceptance of the new pricing terms.
5.4. Subscription & Cancellation
Some services may be offered on a subscription basis. Users can cancel their subscriptions via their RocketPD account settings before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.
5.5. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is subject to the terms outlined below.
Users who violate RocketPD’s Terms of Use or Code of Conduct are not eligible for refunds. In such cases, RocketPD may provide notice of the violation and refund denial at its discretion., even if their refund request falls within the designated refund period. RocketPD also has no obligation to provide refunds for users who fail to complete or pass a course, are dissatisfied with a final grade, or do not meet course expectations.
Refunds for course purchases are subject to the terms of the Thinkific Terms of Service. RocketPD does not guarantee refunds unless required by Thinkific’s policies or applicable law.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
6.1. RocketPD’s Role as a Data Controller/Processor
RocketPD does not collect or process data from students. We collect only minimal data from adult users who engage with our Services, including name, email address, and, in some cases, job title. Additionally, our LMS provider, Thinkific, tracks user engagement metrics such as login counts, video views, and course completion status to enhance learning experiences.
RocketPD acts as a data controller for the personal data it collects directly from users. This means we determine the purposes and means of processing such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
For data processed by third-party providers such as Thinkific (LMS platform) and Stripe (payment processing), RocketPD may act as a data processor on behalf of educational institutions or other partner organizations. These organizations may have their own data agreements governing user data handling.
By using RocketPD, you acknowledge that your data is collected and processed solely for educational and operational purposes in compliance with applicable laws, including FERPA, COPPA, and CCPA, where relevant.
6.2. Security Measures
We care about the security of our users. While we work diligently to protect the security of your account and related information, RocketPD cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures.

We respect your privacy. RocketPD’s data collection and usage practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By using RocketPD, you consent to:
- The collection of personal data as detailed in our Privacy Policy.
- The use of cookies and tracking technologies as detailed in our Cookie Policy.
7. Third-Party Services & Integrations
7.1. Content Providers & Third-Party Rights
Certain courses, programs, or other materials on RocketPD may be provided by third-party content creators or external educational institutions (“Content Providers”). These Content Providers, as well as other third-party service providers integrated with RocketPD, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. They may enforce any provisions that directly relate to their content or services offered on RocketPD.
Users acknowledge that RocketPD does not control or own the intellectual property of Content Providers and that the availability of certain Content Offerings may change at the discretion of RocketPD or the respective Content Provider.
RocketPD integrates with third-party platforms such as Thinkific (LMS), Stripe (payments), Google Analytics, and Facebook Pixel. These services may place their own cookies or collect user data as outlined in their respective privacy policies.
RocketPD does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their data handling practices. Please review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use of these partners.
8. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
All disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration under the laws of the state where RocketPD is headquartered. This arbitration agreement applies to all claims and disputes, except where otherwise prohibited by law, and users may opt out within 30 days of account creation by submitting a written request to [email protected].
Users agree to waive their right to participate in class-action lawsuits against RocketPD to the extent permitted by applicable state and federal laws. Some jurisdictions may not allow such waivers, in which case this provision may not apply.
9. Warranties & Disclaimers
RocketPD provides its Services “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that courses will meet specific learning outcomes or professional requirements or that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from security vulnerabilities.
RocketPD does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any course material or user-generated content. All content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for legal, professional, or financial decisions. Users assume full responsibility for their reliance on any information obtained through our Services.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROCKETPD SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, OR REPUTATION. THIS ALSO INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: (A) ANY LIMITATION OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM OR SERVICES; (B) ANY USER OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, INCLUDING UNAUTHORIZED, OFFENSIVE, OR UNLAWFUL BEHAVIOR; (C) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, ALTERATION, OR MISUSE OF YOUR DATA OR ACCOUNT; OR (D) SERVICE DISRUPTIONS OR DOWNTIME CAUSED BY THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THINKIFIC, STRIPE, OR OTHER INTEGRATED SERVICES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ROCKETPD’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF ITS SERVICES EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) TWENTY U.S. DOLLARS ($20) OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO ROCKETPD FOR ACCESS TO PAID SERVICES IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
YOU AGREE THAT THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS REPRESENT A FAIR AND REASONABLE ALLOCATION OF RISK BETWEEN YOU AND ROCKETPD. THESE LIMITATIONS ARE NECESSARY TO ENABLE ROCKETPD TO PROVIDE ITS SERVICES UNDER COMMERCIALLY REASONABLE TERMS.
ANY CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION RELATED TO THE USE OF ROCKETPD SERVICES MUST BE INITIATED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OCCURRED. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAR FROM BRINGING SUCH CLAIMS.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be exclusively resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
12. Accessibility
RocketPD is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and ensuring accessibility for all users. We strive to comply with applicable accessibility laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and continuously work to enhance accessibility across our platform.

13. Feedback & Suggestions

By submitting Feedback to RocketPD, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, modify, distribute, and display such Feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
RocketPD does not waive any rights to use similar or related feedback previously known to us, developed by our employees, or obtained from other sources.
