Frequently asked questions

Elevate & advocate: a 5-part framework for supporting adult well-being in K-12 schools

At a time when schools are experiencing record attrition and low staff morale and engagement, this all-virtual cohort experience was designed to give school district leaders and their teams a convenient and effective way to facilitate and support conversations and strategies for improving adult well-being and staff retention, while and further supporting the professional needs of teachers and staff. The RocketPD cohort experience works at scale because it enables schools and districts to enroll a single staff member or a large team and receive a consistently engaging, practical and results-oriented professional-learning experience across the board.

Why do this as part of a cohort?

The RocketPD cohort experience is designed to give school district leaders an actionable, affordable and convenient way to facilitate difficult but necessary strategic conversations and initiatives at a time when schools and school communities face both intense initiative fatigue and competing distractions. Districts can register select members of their building or central-office teams for open cohorts, or inquire about a custom cohort for their entire staff, or large teams.

What’s included in this program?

Delivered over five weeks, the program includes (5) scheduled structured learning conversations, delivered virtually over Zoom. Plus, password-protected access to the RocketPD Learning Portal, where participants can access practical resources for each session and, for a limited time, the session recordings.

Who should participate?

Elevate & advocate: a 5-part framework for supporting adult well-being in K-12 schools is an (5)-session (90 minutes each) collaborative professional-learning experience for administrators, instructional coaches and teachers.

How will this help my team?

The RocketPD cohort experience provides a unique opportunity for school district leadership and their staff teams to engage in candid conversations and workshop-style learning with a nationally recognized educator and subject-matter expert in the area of adult wellbeing. Unlike one-off seminars and keynote speeches, the cohort provides a clear opportunity for sustained development and the basis for a framework that school leaders can use to create stronger, more supportive environments for sustainable success.

What is the schedule?

This (5)-session cohort-based experience will take place in November – December 2024. If you want to participate in this cohort, but the dates and times do not work for your schedule, keep in mind that, while live participation is always encouraged, the sessions are recorded and accessible via the RocketPD Learning Portal for a limited time. If you have a large team (15 or more), and the schedule dates and times do not work for you entire team, reach out using the form below to inquire about the formation of a custom cohort for your district.
