Transformational School Leadership
with Dr. Michael Hinojosa
Learn to identify and manage top talent in schools, while navigating politics, and lead with confidence.
To achieve meaningful change in schools, education leaders must master the following:
The best leaders lead the most effective teams. Learn how to identify top-performers in your organization and give them the tools to thrive.
Once you’ve identified your top performers, empower them by giving them the space and agency to both fail and succeed.
They don’t teach politics in graduate courses. Learn to navigate political divisions, while using reliable data to support and drive key decisions.
RocketPD's school leadership and coaching programs are designed to equip K-12 leaders with the tools, skills, and mindsets to champion and lead successful school transformation.

Two reasons: (1) Educators learn best from other educators, but finding quality professional learning delivered by compelling instructors is hard; (2) Getting buy-in from teachers and staff on key initiatives means supporting their professional curiosities and continuous development around those key initiatives. RocketPD was created to help schools and school districts address both of these critical needs, while helping educators achieve and sustain strategic goals and professional learning and/or career objectives over time.
Absolutely. We’ve had educators use a variety of federal, state and local funds and grants to procure our services for their teams. Title II and ESSER funds were the two most-used resources in the 2023-2024 school year. Payment plans are also available for educators on a case-by-case basis.

In this blog post, Dr. Catlin Tucker, a blended learning expert, discusses how schools can reimagine traditional education by centering students in their learning. Drawing from her experience, she advocates for instructional models that leverage technology to enhance collaboration, critical thinking, and engagement.
Supporting adult well-being in schools is no longer just a nice-to-have — it’s essential. As stress levels rise among students, the adults in our schools, particularly those on the front lines, are struggling too. In fact, research shows that teachers are nearly twice as likely to suffer from job-related stress compared to other industries. This ongoing pressure can lead to burnout, anxiety, and depression, yet only 2% of schools offer comprehensive mental health and wellness support for staff.
Family engagement is a proven catalyst for student success, but what about families who seem disengaged? According to Dr. Steve Constantino, a former school leader and expert on family engagement, the key lies in changing our approach.
