Every classroom includes diverse groups of learners, each with different skills, abilities, needs, language proficiencies, and learning preferences. As an educator, you know individualized instruction is the key to student success. But meeting those needs is easier said than done.
Fortunately, through the emergence of artificial intelligence and other tools, the promise of individualized, student-led learning is within reach. But the right tools mean little absent a process and a system to integrate them within the teaching process.
The four sessions in this course were designed to help you leverage the benefits of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies to create lessons that are inclusive and challenge individual students within their zones of proximal development, fostering curiosity, confidence, and resilience. Each session focuses on a specific step of the design process — identifying outcomes and assessment evidence, elevating Tier I instruction and designing equitable learning experiences with UDL and blended learning, adapting and personalizing instruction using data, and cultivating resilient learners. The goal is to remove barriers, honor learner variability, and create more opportunities for teachers to work directly with students to meet their specific needs.
