Overview

District and school leaders have honed their skills in technical leadership, efficiently resolving straightforward problems using existing resources. However, in a dynamic educational landscape where the needs of students and educators continually evolve, this approach, while valuable, should be multifaceted.

Join former school superintendent and Managing Partner at the Center for Model Schools, Dr. Joshua P. Starr, in this five-session cohort as he encourages your leadership team to embrace an asset-based approach to leadership. Unlike technical leadership, which addresses straightforward issues, adaptive leadership focuses on navigating complexity and uncertainty. It requires innovation and openness to change, and reimagining organizational systems and processes to effectively meet their needs.

Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate with Model Schools nationwide as Dr. Starr guides you and your team through a research-based process. Learn how to gather feedback, initiate change, monitor and adjust your approach over time, scale your successes, and develop future leaders to sustain your vision.
